Enthusiasm - anywhere? anyone?

I've lost it! It's been a year since I signed up for this challenge and now that the money is in I'm just on a countdown to getting it done.
Part of me really wants to enjoy the training and getting my body as fit as it can be, but the other part just doesn't enjoy the cycling! I really thought I'd enjoy cycling by now, but it's not really happened.
I did a Spinning class on Friday evening, then did 18 miles yesterday and a very tiny 10 miles this morning. It's ridiculous really as the weather has been beautiful and I've had the time to do more, but I've also been on my own as my cycle partner, Alex, had her wisdom teeth out this weekend. Solo cycling really isn't fun.
I am off work tomorrow though and I plan to be out for at least 4 hours, but we'll see what excuses I can conjure up to cut it short.
I'm going to try to get along to the training day next Sunday. I could do with a ride of 40 miles with the actual people I'll be in Egypt with. It will be fantastic to meet everyone.
Onto brighter things - we have a wedding fayre to go to this afternoon so that'll get my spirits back up!! Only 31 weeks until I become Mrs Dell!!!
